Rotten Authorities

Picture

There was something about this woman that was insanely attractive. She was in shorts and a frock, sport shoes on as she saunters over to the table, late for breakfast and unapologetic about it. I smile as she takes the seat next to me ‘morning.’ I coo.

She smiles ‘Wassup.’ She replies as the table is set for her, her hair today is combed back with a loose clip that matches the orange frock. She was specially constructed it seems. It’s the only explanation for her looking edible and tasting just as great! ‘Hi.’ She says excitedly at Veronica who seems shocked by the spontaneous interest in her ‘hallo.’ She says stiffly ‘she’s not with him.’ I whisper into her ear before she says anything about last night. She turns to me in shock ‘what do you mean not with him. Wasn’t she with him last night?’ she pries in a concerned whisper ‘yeah, but he’s here with Isabel.’ I explain discretely pointing at the girl with her copper eyes and honey hued hair. She turns to me in distaste ‘then what was he doing with her?’ she pries ‘we know what he was doing with her.’ I chuckle softly taking a sip of my lemon tea

‘That’s unfair on Isabel.’ She declares digging into her fruit ‘I doubt she expects fidelity from Lucas of all people.’ I shrug taking a waffle and dipping it in chocolate. ‘So he’s excused by virtue of being him?’ she demands catching a few ears in our private conversation. I dip the waffle into her mouth distractedly, my mind on the thousand fevers she gave me throughout the night without knowing it at all. I watch her lips of lightning take the mini waffle into her mouth, picturing bits and pieces of me going in the same way, my tongue, my lips, other parts that would make her blush, the shivers acquainting themselves with my spine again like I want to jump out of my chair and lay her on the table in front of all the company we have around us.

‘Morning Sadie.’ Lucas says across the table. She turns to him ‘hi Lucas.’ She curtly says ‘you look lovely.’ He announces ‘thank you.’ She states. At least she didn’t like him! ‘Will you be picnicking with the ladies or practising archery with us?’ he investigates mockingly ‘don’t mind him Sadie, he was dropped at birth.’ Carlen announces with a bright smile. ‘She really likes you.’ I point out. Sadie turns to me ‘what’s that meant to mean?’ she investigates

‘Nothing.’ I shrug with a smile ‘you said it like you were surprised that someone can like Me.’ she argues ‘why would I be; I like you.’ I reason ‘then what’s wrong with Carlen liking me?’ she probes ‘nothing.’ I reveal ‘then why did you say it like there was something wrong with it?’ she investigates ‘there must have been a miscommunication somewhere.’ I decide ‘damn right there was. Don’t hate on Carlen. She’s my girl.’ She warns me. I chuckle in amusement. What bonds were being formed behind my back around here? Sadie and Lucas’ elder sister?!! I turn to Liesel who is staring at me through her lashes, probably still shaken by my unwarranted forwardness last night. I should apologize for it; I was struck by lightning and was suffering several fevers. I obviously wasn’t in my proper mannerisms. I smile at her as she turns her attentions to Philip. I turn back to Sadie who is chatting Marcus up lightly, Emery contributing to the pleasantries as well...

‘I think we’re going to copulate tonight.’ Hilliard announces. We’re at the archery range ‘AIM’ the umpire shouts as we lift our bows and aim at the trees ‘that is disgusting! You barely know if she has herpes or not!’ Leigh decides ‘can they treat herpes?’ Emery wonders ‘why don’t you ask Lucas’ I state ‘RELEASE.’ The umpire shout as we release the arrows ‘why Lucas?’ Koen investigates ‘he was with Veronica last night under a tree.’ I reveal smiling at Lucas who aims his arrow at me, the empire blowing the whistle at him ‘hasn’t she been with everyone?’ Marcus wonders ‘apart from his royal highness the dick of Angelford.’ Lucas says aiming back at the trees ‘it’s not my fault I don’t like second rated things earl Whitlam.’ I reply confidently ‘is that so? Because your precious Sadie has a thing for Me.’ he announces to the crowd ‘she wouldn’t touch you if she had sequin gloves and they irritated your skin.’ I promise him with an impish smile ‘then why is she bonding with my sister?’ he prods ‘AIM’ the umpire says ‘I’ve often wondered how someone as sweet as Carlen is related to you Lucas.’ Marcus states. Of course he’s smote by Carlen ‘If you touch my sister Illham! I will harm you!’ Lucas swears ‘RELEASE!’ the umpire shouts as I release the arrow again along with my companions.

A few apples fall from my tree, some sort of disturbance in the leaves that halts the activity in case we have a monkey to combat.
The neigh of a horse behind us however catches our attention, causing me to turn around to Sadie aiming a sling shot at my tree ‘this game sucks.’ She decides with a smile, patting the grey stallion she’s mounted. ‘and the most of you are fops.’ She announces looking at us briefly before she turns around as the neigh of another horse breaks into the air, Carlen Roland trotting in after her in glee. ‘That wasn’t even a race Carlen.’ Sadie says lightly ‘I didn’t expect you to be a speed jolt as such!’ the breathless Carlen Roland of Whitlam says, her hair ruffled by the wind. Sadie bends over and kisses the stallion affectionately and then dismounts as though she were flying off a cliff ‘this seems more interesting than the picnic.’ She says strutting to me with a smile on her face.

‘You are by all means a rotten authority Sadie.’ Carlen says dismounting the horse with the help of Marcus. ‘Hi.’ She says staring at my lips. I fight the urge to take her into my arms and receive the fevers right here in front of my posse. ‘Hi’ I coo right back ‘can I just say that your friends have very boring taste in women.’ She declares ‘apart from Viola and Carlen everyone else is so boring; and Viola’s trying to fit in so we had to leave her behind when we escaped.’ She divulges, Carlen chuckling excitedly.

‘And what brings you here?’ I prod trying to pry my gaze from the lightning lips ‘I have this borderline obsession.’ She says with a smile ‘you do?’ I inquire smiling some more ‘I’m searching for its inoculants.’ She confirms ‘AIM’ the umpire shouts to cut our conversation short. ‘May I?’ she requests ‘sure.’ I say handing her my bow and arrow. ‘I’ll suck at this.’ She decides ‘you had pretty good aim at the apples.’ I remind her ‘I was aiming for your butt.’ She reveals, causing me to chuckle as she releases the arrow before the umpire instructs as to. The arrow lands like a javelin in the grass, the feather tail sticking out in the wind ‘I can’t be that bad!’ Carlen shouts at her as she bursts into laughter adding to my delight at the amazing Sadie ‘that’s what I was aiming for.’ She announces handing the quiver back to me as the umpire blows his whistle ‘Angelford! Are you in or not?’ he demands.

I stifle my laugh and turn to Sadie ‘let’s do this together.’ I offer pressing her back against me and taking her arm, aiming the arrow for her. ‘Uncurl your back.’ I whisper into her ear. She shifts a synch ‘straighten it completely.’ I say holding on to her midsection until her back is straight and stiff ‘ready’ I report to the umpire, holding her arm from behind and aiming the arrow for us ‘RELEASE!’  He shouts. She releases the arrow as it goes on straight to the bull’s eye, my body refusing to move away from hers as we stand there, her back plastered to my front like we were Siamese twins, the fever firing up engines that I wasn’t used to handling at this hour in this manner. ‘We make a good team.’ I whisper huskily into her ear, feeling drained from the brain towards my smaller head ‘we have a winner!’ the umpire announces as Carlen aims an arrow at the tree and lets it go ‘we have a draw.’ he corrects himself as it hits the bull’s eye, Sadie taking the opportunity to step away from me, releasing me of the contemplation of dry-humping her like a haunted adolescent oblivious of his sexual desires and fighting to control them.
I watch them high five in a beautiful display of affection ‘that can’t be counted! None of them are even included in these games!’ David laments pointing at the girls

‘are you pointing at my sister?!’ Lucas haughtily demands, David retracting his hand clinically. ‘What do you want to do next?’ Carlen pries. Sadie turns to me ‘you owe me.’ she reminds me ‘I promise I’ll take you after lunch.’ I vow with a smile, the breeze helping me regain equanimity a tad though it turns against me and blows away at her frock, making it stick to her body and draw out things I didn’t need to be envisioning right now. ‘I’ll see you at the house then.’ She says walking to the stallion purposefully. I take her by the elbow and pull her to me, kissing her cheek though my lips yearn for more ‘I’ll take you after lunch.’ I reiterate gruffly into her ear. I wish she understood the depths of my meanings in my statement, my yearnings, and my desire for her...
